If you would like to allow your customers to pay bills, or buy products via your web site, Aussiecom can provide e-commerce integration. The site requests the customer to enter their credit card details (and monetary amount if required) and the transaction automatically takes place via the Australian EFTPOS network. The credit card details are encrypted and sent directly to the bank via the 'eSec merchant gateway server'. This process is totally secure and takes approximately 7-10 seconds to complete. The credit card details are never stored on our server, and you (or Aussiecom) never see them, so it is the safest way by far to buy products and services using a credit card.
